dude i Feel that the economy is Fuqed i think that the idea of me finding something in the world that is worth say 100 and then comming back into town only to sell it for anything from 50-90 is unfair in a real world way IF i where to Do that in real life i would Charge At least +10% for my goods for the simple reason I had to go get that crap And bring it back And fight zombies along the way.

im just wondering if i will ever be able to sell that crap that i find all to often.. like mugs and umbrellas and all that junk.. ya know Everything has a price in the Age of zombies i feel Ammo should have Apsolute price.. i buy for 2/3/4 And i Sell for the Same i paid for it Ammo should be Like money IT is just as much value If not moreso considering the factory's That MAke it no longer In production

i should be able to sell Everything even teddybears... Little kids are Afraid of zombies And need some comfort... ya know? I feel i should be able To sell Everything i find for a fair price... i dont think the Idea of capitalistic ways will survive in the post apoc World

No? they want to make money, they are still shop keepers, what should they do with Teddy Bears? maybe setup a alternative shop that buy "Junk" for a low price. a low price is better then any price.

Agreed. Life in an apocalyptic scenario is always going to be difficult, even from a financial aspect. As stated above, shopkeepers have to do everything they can to remain afloat. If I ran a shop, I'd probably do the same. In fact, my prices would probably be RIDICULOUS compared to what you've seen.

If this type of apocalypse happened, I don't think I would sell anything. xD I do think many of the useless items will have uses later. The tech skill will probably have a few items you can craft useing junk. Ever played Fallout 3? You can take a lunchbox, fuse, timer thingy, and a cherry bomb or something and it makes a mine. Stuff like this would add use to crap.

Fallout 3 is a good point of view on junk, because all the junk can be sold for a special deal somewhere or used to make stuff, i mean, why not make a Cd and/or LP launcher, just look at this, theres a 1000000 LP's and CD's and why not use it as ammunition

You know those guns that shoot tennis balls. Imagine a homemade version that shoots pretty much anything dropped in it. Launch pool balls, rocks, bricks, coffee mugs, broken bottles. xD

I agree that there are some things that seem like they would sell. Like cigarettes for example. They show up with a ridiculous cost in your inventory (120 I think) but you get nothing for them. I would think that someone would be addicted enough to pay that kind of money for cigs in a zombie invasion. Not just that, but if I loot something useful like a blanket or sneakers, I also get nothing. These seem like they would be essential items. I'm also quite perplexed with the sale price of the bloodpack. This is definitely in the college store for sale at a ridiculous price, but it too sells for nothing.

It would be cool if you could loot individual cigarettes off zombies. Or like a pack with 8/20 cigs. So you have to save them up to full packs. Like 1 cig is worth 1 dollar, but if you get all 20/20 you can sell for 24 dollars. This style could apply to many types of items that could seem stackable.
