We have been working on some new quests for quite some time and hope have to them ready sometime during next week. One of the new quests will include a boss fight, another aiding a survivor trapped on the roof of a downtown building.

Do you have ideas for new quests? If so remember we are always open to new suggestions. Simply use the beta feedback button to submit them directly to the development team.

I remember submitting to feedback an idea about a quest shop in the prison (42|17)
They could be like this:
*lvl 5-7: a prisoner has gone wild in his cell, but no guard dares to enter and "do the job", so they need your help to do it-- enemy can be female or male zombie prisoner.

*lvl 6-8: The guards who have taken refuge in the barricaded walls of the prison hear strange sounds coming from the basement. Also, 2 of them are missing. The enemy can be a zombie policeman, prisoner or soldier

*lvl 7-10: the guards are planning to move to the roof of the prison and use snipers to keep the hordes of zombies from coming. But they need ammo. They ask you to raid one of the existing gun shops (which will make them unavailable for the player) in order to fortify the building. Instead of money, you can get free ammo or weapons each day (the higher your level, the better the item, e.g.: players w/ levels til 10 get 20-30 ammo or a basic handgun, up to 15 they get more ammo or a more advanced weapon, etc.) Even though this is my suggestion, I won't really recomend it, as it would make the game fairly easy for some players (if the free items cap is not well designed)
^ that, or get a limited ammount of ammo per weak/month, 100-200 per month would be the cap (9 mm bullets and common/cheap ammo would have more, 300, for example), while hunting rifles would be less (50-100)
^the quest shop will then move to the roof of the building
^after this, you could also gain money/marksmanship training for killing zeds from the roof

*lvls 11-12: A wolf has managed to enter into the building, and one of the guards was sent to kill it, but hasn't returned. Objective: kill some prisoners/the wolf/the guard --> all as a horde

that's all I can suggest for now, my fingers are tired

I remember submitting a quest to rescue a cat in 2 steps (or 1 very difficult step)
step 1: use your agility to get to where the cat is (probably a very tall tree or the like)
step 2: use your smarts to lure the cat down
Or you could combine both steps into one, and have that step rely on both stats at the same time. It would be harder because you may need to level up both stats at the same time, not knowing which stat has a higher requirement.

I wanna see quests with branching stories, and different options to pick during certain events. Maybe in an NPC conversation, you can be prompted with 3 choices, 3 times. So you have many possible outcomes. Depending on how many positive, neutral, and negative statements you say, is how the NPC will act to you. Different NPCs would like, and dislike different statements. Like a mean mercenary guy isn't going to like if your constantly complaining about civilian losses. Or a doctor is not going to like it if you act like its no big deal that supplies are running low.

Meybe im asking to much but how about making some quest like there won't be somethig like "and lived happily ever after" ending Either of the option chosen there willbe someone(Quest npc) who is pissed of in the end it was Seth who proposed the kind of quest with "no good ending and i like the idea of quests where ther isnt any totally good path to take or just the oposite"

I am aware though that the kind of plot im talking about mey be very very complicated. But please take it into considertion.
"Nie wolno się bać,strach zabija duszę.Strach to mała śmierć, a wielkie unicestwienie.Stawię Mu czoło..."

I like that idea, it adds some depth and realism to the quest. It could even be as simple as choosing to go down the alley to the left or the alley to the right. A simple decision like this may or may not make a huge amount of difference, but it would prevent an overly linear feel.

Yah... or like in a certain situation say your inside a dark warehouse... you have snuck in and got the object your sent for. Something lights up, or starts making noise and all the zeds nearby start swarming towards the warehouse. You get 5 turns before they start getting in. Do you pick up ammo, pick up ammo, pick up ammo, or barricade, barricade, or set a trap, or any combination. So you might have not got as much ammo as another player, but at least 6 zeds are gonna get their asses blown to pieces on the landmines you dropped. xD

How about some random encounter quests? When you enter non-essential buildings there could be a chance of meeting a NPC looking for some item which you can find by scavenging and bringing back for a reward?
