Hey people, I'm having a bit of a money issue right now... Ok, so right now, my dream combo is the AA-12 and the PKM. Having found both shops and acquired a good sum of cash, I am ready to buy one of the two. However, knowing that the PKM cannot be used in close combat, and the AA-12 has a real short range, I am in a dilemma. Currently my weapon is the M16, a good all-around automatic. The problem, is that even when selling the M16, I don't have enough to buy both, but without selling it I have enough to buy one. I don't want to spend money on ammo I will never use for the M16, and the weight of either gun is enough to significantly lower my scavenging income. What should I do? |

My reccomendation is this: Buy neither. The AA12, in my opinion, is too weak to be imminently useful in most situations, and for close combat can be easily and cheaply substituted with another, even lighter, weapon (for example, the Mac-10 or Glock 18). If you must buy one of the two, I would say go for the PKM. It's powerful and versatile with a nice long range and will grant you the ability to kill virtually anything. My personal viewpoint, though, is that you should forego entirely the PKM and save for a minigun. They're not vastly expensive considering how powerful they are, and outweigh the PKM quite considerably in all aspects. Granted, they are heavier and require more ammo, but that's a sacrifice which, in my opinion, is justifiable, and perfectly possible. A working example of this is the fact that I didn't use anything but a steyr rifle to around level 20, when I found an M16. I only used that for a couple of levels before I could afford a minigun and haven't looked back since. In short: If you're gonna buy one, go for the PKM and a lighter weapon such as an SMG; but if you really want to go to town, use your perfectly adaqeute M16 and go straight for the minigun. |

Your responses are quite puzzling to me. I found the Glock 18c before reaching the collage campus, and remembering correctly before I sold it (ammo problem), it's damage was similar to a normal pistol, but just was automatic. The Mac Submachine Gun is similar. The minigun DOES sound awesome, considering it's a minigun, but I have no idea where to find it. And why the M16a2? its damage is passed by the AA-12 (M16a2 does 9-13, AA-12 does 13-18). Also, consider that I'm about level 11, so no ENC. |

I'm more dependent on the fact what you could find in the city would fit more for gun than your buck. My favorite three amigos is the UMP, Steyr and of course Minigun. UMP is my all around buddy, considering 9mm is cheap and easy to scavenge so virtually never runs out on me. It only lacks range. Steyr is just the same as UMP with better range, since 5.5 rifle bullets are just as fairly easy find. The only trouble I have with this gun is they compete with the bullet-hungry Minigun. And lastly, this 'Rambo B.A.' Miinigun I save mostly for those troublesome hordes especially in clearing out buildings. And then there's my Katana, just for stupid birds. Anyway, I was considering AA-12 as well to replace Steyr but what bugs me isn't the price, it's the shotgun shells are hefty expensive considering $5 a piece. Shotguns shells are IMO 3rd in the most common bullet lootables. The PKM isn't much IMO. Test it in a building and you'll see the MG's not all cracked up to be if say massive hordes? Well if not that, try three-four hordes at once (yes it did happened to me once and I had a half an HP by the time I could escape).

I used the Glock for a short while and found it more than servicable for close quarters. Even more so for the mac, which is actually very powerful. Anyway, the main point I'm trying to convey is that your M16 is perfectly adaqeute for the time being and is not limited by range or expensive ammo. It's a good weapon to have if you're saving for a minigun. |

m16 because you can kill off almost everything before it reaches you, saving time for advance button, which is quite bothersome if you kill zombies all day ammo is less expensive too, almost twice |

Player attacks with compact minigun: 40 Player hits with compact minigun: 36 % Hits: 90% Avg Damage: 29 Total Damage: 1065 All it takes is a good bag to negate the additional weight of the gun and ammo. Or you could just work on strength, if it's that much of a hassle. |

Damn, this turned out to be more than I thought it would be. Well, it's been 11 levels and thanks to some lucky finds, I have 20000$, so the minigun seems a little far away, but screw it, might as well work on my marksmanship and strength. I might sell the M16 and buy a PKM, for some of the large groups and riot gear guys. But right now, I think I'm set. |

I got a PKM today and with 200 SP, I went from level 11 to nearly level 13 (only 800 EXP short) and gained about $5000. I guess it will help my earning to get the M95 quickly enough ^_^ |

I have a PKM and a Sniper Rifle. The only thing I ever use the PKM for is for those huge hordes. Everything else goes down with the Sniper round. |

PKM for hordes, SKS for everything, Zanbato for melee. Thats my way. Now i am aiming for M82 to replace SKS and Minigun to replace PKM at last. |

To finally see the subtlety of the end and understand it completely is what it means to die. We cannot help ourselves from growing wiser. Those who are helpless to their search for knowledge are those who cannot transcend death. |
