    So the devs have reduced money drop from zombies?
    Even the shopping mall santas now drop very little money...
    With each 3 shot burst costs about $15, we earn very low income from zeds now ^_^'

    Oops sorry, each 3 shot burst costs only $9... I don't know why since the beginning, I have always been thinking 1 burst from my M16 costs $15.
    Silly me lol...

    Bad news for me. I don't see this is a good idea, though, considering looting was just significantly nerfed too.

    Hmm I don't like either changes very much, it makes the urge to hunt (rich) Zeds seem pretty bad and not worth it anymore. At least the hordes can pay for themselves but that's because I'm only using a more efficient weapon.

    Frankly I'm more concerned with the lower level players. As a high level, I already have good stats combatwise (CQC and Marksmanship are both 100 btw ) so I'm good either melee or guns.

    If this is a step towards melee combat, I really insist getting with the perks now as CQC really needs some tender loving attention and deserves it! P.S. To the Dev team, thanks for beefing up some of the melee weapons, although the katana will still outranks them, lol. Zanbato is the only competitor since it has the better damage.

    Regarding bullets, I think the 9mm shouldn't have been more expensive, considering you already nerfed just about every rich zeds out there. Most newbie guns will be relying on the 9mm weapons, including the basic newbie revolver. I still wished you made the rifle (5.5 and 7.62) and MG rounds (.50) had natural AP capability though. Such bullets were designed for pierce penetration.

    I think the living enemies like gangsters and raiders should carry more money IMO. Makes them as interesting targets and they don't appear as often as Zeds.

    @Rhys

    I think it's time to invest on a sniper rifle like the Barett. Pretty expensive but efficient and a money saver in the long run when you think about it, just stay clear of buildings and hordes, especially both.

    I've just ditched my beloved M16 for a Zanbato, a M95 and buy the almighty Bulletproof vest. Now I'm officially broke lol. I guess now it's the new era for melee weapons and sniper rifles.

    Conservation of resources is something that we'd have to do in a pandemic anyway....it looks like practice will make us perfect and lots of planned outings may become the ticket outta this mess....lol

    Cheers

    Love it since it was kinda boring and too easy. Now its more realistic and fun to play. This doesnt means scavenging is the only way to go, you just have to be more selective with what you kill. I personally prefer killing over scanvenging couse it gives less money but it gives XP also.

    Realism = Fun?

    Not always the case; I'd just have to see how this plays out myself. If it ends up in a cough Dead Frontier-esque odds of finding anything, and even lower odds of finding something useful, I'm probably just going to ditch the game.

    I mean, the word "game" implies fun. Going around, clicking "search" constantly in order to find meager supplies isn't fun. It's busy-work.
    "Misericorde" - Mercy-giver. "Zyle" - The lack of the above. I love you guys <3 Pfft

    I play 2 characters, and try to play them a bit differently. One tries to husband his resources, uses melee whenever possible, but burns a lot of sp. He's going to have little difficulty adjusting to the new paramaters. The other uses his machine gun a lot, he's going to have to learn to lead with his pistol a little more often. (He also accidentally sold his Kitana when a page was slow loading, so he's going to have to get a new CC blade. He is making a trip south to finish his missions on map 1 anyway.) I'm going to wait a few days and see how this plays out before I comment further.

    It's just occured to me that the new update means that, on an average day in which I make it my objective to level, I will blow through around $12,000 worth of ammo. In that time, I will make only $5000 or so.

    Suddenly I'm eating through my savings. Sigh.

    Or use a sniper rifle. Its the best way to save ammo without using CC weapons.

    BOOOOOOOO!!!!

    Different money drops were what made the types of zombies like Manager Zombies, Tourist Zombies, Shopping Mall Santa Zombies, and Suit Zombies unique!!

    It's not so much the money but the fact that the interesting zombies have lost one of the things that separates them from the others!
