limited, but definitely ability to add and remove heavy barricades, restoring and destroying buildings (obviously not the burned out ones, but hey)
it would need to be somehow defined though, it's still budding in my head
but wouldn't it be great to have a player spawned event with campus burning and a whole rush of relocating the survivors?
another idea of mine is to have people spawn surroundings they search for temporarily, with some probability of success depending on the map
or adjusting the probabilities (if something spawns, it lowers the probability of finding it again, sometimes to 0) and making them permanent, players would spawn the whole city then
I am not sure yet about what you mean.but it dosnt sound like survival horror to me.
in survival horror, you do not have such control of the situation.you simply try your best to survive it.
events could and should exist in the game, but players should not have such control over them.
you could have for example a situations where, a survivor would find a lab with a dangerous experimental creature trapped inside ,that would be set free if the player opened his container.
events could exist in the game and be triggered by players actions, but they should be set from the start. the ones who should have control of a survival horror world, should be the game makers not the players.we can only make suggestions for things, we think should be added or changed in the game.
i myself had an idea of an event, where a group of religious people find a device capable of destroying the whole city and survivors would need to attempt to stop them and in case they didnt they would use it and everyone on the server would die.it would be a little more complicated than that tough.
