once you complete all the missions things start to get really boring (not me, i`m just in level 10) this new quest would be a new and exiting challenge........................................................................................................................
final quest: the zombie colloseum ..................................................................................................................................
this is located in map 2 in a new place called colloseum, a place where only players of level 60 or higher can get in. in this place we will find all kind of stores to buy anything we want and some training places (i`m not sure about this because at this point of the game you reach the training limit). and at a certain hour, lets say 8 pm would start the event of the day, that consist in a competition where the best zombie killers tests their strengh. they would face zombie after zombie whithout rest and when the event finish after, lets say... 20 minutes the player that killed more zombies and survived wins a price (a weapon, ammo or something, some xp, sp and hp restored and some money) of course if you die you will return to the colloseum (outside) with your sp and hp restored to the same values you had when the challenge started , so you only loose ammo and your pride..........................................................................................................................
the event would be once per day, maybe you would have to pay for the entrance........................................................................................................................
pd: my english is not very good so if you find a mistake please let me know and i will edit it
    english in progress

I like the idea but its just too early for this. Since the devs are aiming to have 8 maps this could be implemented when all maps are available and not now that we have only 2. Its a nice idea for the future though.
We all die as we are born. We always find the end before the beginning. If to live means to continually search for wisdom, we'll find the end waiting after our last lesson. To finally see the subtlety of the end and understand it completely is what it means to die. We cannot help ourselves from growing wiser. Those who are helpless to their search for knowledge are those who cannot transcend death.

I like the idea of a final quest but mine would be like this:

On map 3 (or maybe 4) you found an airport with usable large plane and your mission is go prepare enough fuel, food and weapons for a flight. There will be progress bars showing how much more needs to be collected. Other player could also join the mission but maximum only the first 30-50 people could register for the flight.

It will take a lot of time to get ready but before you are able to take off, an army of bandits and raiders attack the airport and you will have to fight them off. There will be around 100 to 200 groups of them, high marksmanship and HP and should be a real challenge. Everyone could join the fight to help the mission because after 2 days the raiders will overrun the airport and the mission will fail. If the players win the battle, only the registered 30-50 people will be able to fly.

After that, there will be something like a cutscene (or just a text cutscene) saying that the plane leaves the US to Europe but then is shot down for some reason. Then it will be a beginning of a new map in Europe, or even the beginning of Zombie Pandemic 2. The player will have the same level and skills but their equipment is lost.

i'd rather have them create games with endless replayability in eternal beta, something like Eve Online
but faction warfare would be needed, + zombie faction

Yeah, I agree that putting this mission on map 3 or 4 would be too early. Well, just an idea to think about

I like Meowerine idea more but i insist, its too early. Balancing weapons and combat has more priority atm than adding missions.

It's definitely too early but I guess it's ok to note down for later update (way later, I mean )

Maybe some kind of quests where lots of ppl sign up to go to a rescue mission to a nearby town they havent heard anything about recently? Not as creative but not as final as Meows idea. Like a quest that takes some days wher you got to build your own safehouse at the beginning and start scouting and rescuing missions... or at least plunder all the food and gas you can find when everything is lost and you have to flee before you get overrun. Sounds like lame raids... or maybe everybody who helped enough for the final mission gets "reborn" as lvl 1-10 but with different boni? (Former Life: Officer in the French Foreign Legion)
They did the MASH! They did the monster mash... The zombies were having fun, the party had just begun!

That's no good, a once a day event starting at 8:00 and only lasts 20 minutes? Aside from all the overseas players that's going to completely alienate, the winner-only prize can be guaranteed never to fall to anyone who isn't going to buy 5000 minigun rounds and just wipe out everything in one or two hits. A tiered tournament lasting the whole day would be somewhat better, and running multiple such games at once would allow everyone the chance to get in would also be best.

As a rough idea it's okay, but the timing and setup would just exclude far too many people. Missions, especially endgame ones for players who have finished everything else, should be available for everyone whenever they are able to get online.

I personally think it would be better to have this arena as a player-run area where the prize is determined by the total of everyone's entry fees and groups of people of any level can set up their own tourneys between themselves whenever they want, using some sort of matchup system.

It's a good idea and everything but you just can't have a final quest... more quests definitely but never a final quest. Especially since everybody has a different way they want to end the zombie pandemic (some say everyone dies, some say we find a cure, some say things stay the same etc.). But also at level 60 there just isn't a point because everybody is so maxed out that they will know what the best weapons are or the best strategies and they will have endless amounts of health or strength etc. and because this is a text based game it isn't down to skill at all. When 5 level 60's go up against the hoard of giants the only reason why only one of them survives is because even though their weapon says 99%, 4 of them will miss a shot and die and the other will just be lucky and get all of his shots on target.
Like I say though it's a good idea but it needs some tampering and you never know it might work.

Agreed with Max I although the plane Idea to move to other cities isn't a bad idea I think this could eventually be the biggest zombie game ever.
