    Hi,sorry for bad english im russian.I want to give you idea how ap bullets can work:
    1 Each weapon has min and max damage(for example 9mm pistol has minimum damage 7 and maximum damage 9)
    2 Each bullet has its "damage number"(for example 9mm ammo has damage number 1 and 9mm AP has damage number 3)it shows how ofthen this bullet will hit min or max damage("damage number" 1 shows that you got 60-80% to hit min damage than max and only 20-25% to hit maximum damage)

    Please be more clear, what i understand here is that you mean that 9mm bullets should have higher chance to hit the "low" damages more than the possible max, but AP has higher chance of hitting max damage?

    yes,but developers can make subsonic ammo that has more chance to hit min damage and simple 9mm ammo wil hit average damage(in my example it will be 8)

    I allways thought AP ammo ignores armor from enemies, am i wrong?

    AP=Armor piercing.

    So I guess this ammo should ignore armor.

    By the way, can you actually load AP ammo to a gun?
