    progressive (3)
     33%
    varied and realistic (6)

    you know the usual structure of rpg
    you start in the dirty hole and kill rabbits with a stick, you end up in the dungeon killing dragons with mighty sword of excellence
    do you want it in zombiepandemic?

    one of the upcoming features are zombies reacting to player activity
    in addition there will be hordes travelling through the map

    so i thought, why not make all the present and incoming maps one big map in terms of gameplay and zombie travel?

    1st map is suburbs, so zombie spawns aren't threatening at all (if my feedback goes through they will sometimes, so cross your fingers ^_^)
    but we should allow zombies to travel from tile to tile, and start forming bigger groups in areas with high player activity
    and how about we allow zombies to follow players from further maps here?

    there are several conditions though:
    scavenging must be profitable again
    chat
    ability to travel and kill in groups
    stealth to not get noticed by zombies (optional)

    otherwise it would be frustrating

    in diablo2 classic there is one problem:
    to kill monsters with best gear, you need best gear
    so you have to leech and cross your fingers that you pick something up
    i don't want that here, i want to be ready when i move out (which is something sensible and smart to do in survival horror zombie apocalypse :plain, with some chance for a screw up

    so i don't want "best" weapons to be available from last boss/horde, i'd rather have low chance of scavenging them in special containers throughout the maps, or a reward for particularily gruesome and long string of missions
    especially if we have National Defence organising resistance on map1
    not too easy, but keep it realistic

    the same for training, i think it is boring to have every higher trainer on the next map, back it up with a story and spread them out (and zombies) a little thoroughly

    one last word for realism
    the only thing going for zombie apocalypse is that it is hapenning in OUR world
    place it somewhere else and it loses it's appeal
    so keep it real
    every attempt to turn it into WoW is a HUGE mistake

    Yes making it like other RPGs is senseless because people got used to it.But adding the new appeal and variety, thats the different story.

    Yeah unfortunately not everyone reads the forum "from cover to cover" so to speak. Hence the quantity of sp related threads.

    so i can lead a Massive Horde into map 1 era just for them wreak some havoc and after some time, il kill it

    last thing, i want spawns to be of some danger, else everyone will go there, a high level player might survive for some time (and it would be awesome that if zombies could "join" in the fight at spawns (like 1 zombie unit pr turn)

    gunshots should trigger additional spawns

    devs are "happy to consider" my feedback so i think it got through ^_^
    so we will have groups present in the tile instead of random encounters
    the same way it works when you leave your character in the street for a long time
    now, if we would have whole groups attracted by gunshots :evilaugh:

    A game doesnt have to be realistic to be a good game. Look at WoW its all fantasy and has over 11 millons players that pay to play it. Even this game is not realistic since it has zombies in it. I agree with the part of realism for weapons and the place where the pandemic occurs, but it doesnt have to be 100% realism.
    We all die as we are born. We always find the end before the beginning. If to live means to continually search for wisdom, we'll find the end waiting after our last lesson. To finally see the subtlety of the end and understand it completely is what it means to die. We cannot help ourselves from growing wiser.
