    I was thinking that we could add a trade post where players could sell items they have for shop price or sell price if unavailable at shops to other players.
    Please add your input/ideas and or opinion on this.
    PS: I did not no if this was already discussed or with same idea so please don't get mad if its a re-post

    dont think its needed untill or if devs limit shop inventory, but if they do then the idea is great.

    A trade system would be great for the game but there will be a lot of players that create many accounts and trade between them. If devs can fix that, its a good idea. Its hard to do though.

    Hmmm but lets say you have 5 accounts, 1 is your main and other 4 just scavenges . That would be too OP and hard to avoid.

    If thats the case you can just give money to them. Lets say i give my main 2000 ammo i scavenged for minimun price then i give my alts a rock for minimun price.

    the system check the worth, whether it's item for item or money for item

    I was talking about trading between players, not using npcs.

    Having a minimun and maximun price can solve a little the problem but not all of them. When you trade something its supposed to be traded for less $ than you can get it in shops. So scavenging with alts and selling items for minimun price to mains would still give an advantage to players. One possible solution is to restrict 1 account per IP but since there are many ways of hiding/changing your IP its not viable. The only solution that comes to my mind is a strict control from the admins but they would need to spend a lot of time controlling players and that would be a lot of time spending from them and i dont think it is possible. It seems easy but its not.

    That trade system would be too limited and i dont think it would worth the time spending on it.

    actually it would be a shop, it's not that bad, they have shops already
    also, non-monetary economy would work exactly that way, even at the shops, so it's something worth pursuing

    Its not difficult. Its just a trading system can offer more variants to the game than just kill zombies and scavenge like it is now.

    if i manage to convince devs that not all weapons should be available at the shops, buying items sold by players to the shop and trade system will be necessary

    Im with you kemed. It is a great idea that some weapons are scavengled only, There could be also a place where you can make your own small shop, lets say for example, college campus rooftop. There players can leave their characters selling from 1 to 4 items, log out and shop will stay. You can go there and check the players shop and buy items from them.

    I'd like to have our clan stronghold as a place for clan members to sell stuff rather than fixed locations like campus rooftop. This way, players from different clans can visit other strongholds for variety of items and to avoid too many shops in one map, the devs can limit number of suitable places for stronghold and give it challenging requirement to create one.

    The reason why i sugested fixed locations like college campus is to prevent abuse. With this shops you can abuse just the same way like trading but if you can set up shops at just a few common places like college campus, where a lot of people are inside, you risk another one to buy the stuff you are selling too cheap before you could buy them with your main.

    Making of such market makes sense only if you need some rare items that requires crafting. But in ZP you can buy everything in NPC shops. Their fixed prices won't let players become too rich on early stages.
