    Hey guys. I checked the FAQ and did a search in this forum but didn't find an answer. I noticed someone was down and needed reviving/healing. I am always being helped up by people so I tried to give back by helping someone but I couldn't.

    Can someone please explain how I heal someone? Thanks.

    In the location tab you can check the other players that are in the same location. When you see a "+" near the name of a player that means the player is not at full health. You can heal him by pressing this "+". You will use 10 SP to heal him 5 HP and you will get 10 XP as a reward. If you are in a location where someone needs help (red dots in the map) you will notice near the players that someone needs help.If you help him you would get 200 XP as a reward. When you die and you choose the option "wait for rescue" you will be marked as a red dot in the map. This red dots are players that died and are waiting for rescue.
    Here is an example of healing

    In this location the player "Adjane" is not at full health and you can heal him/her
    If you press "+" near him/her you will recieve this message:
    We all die as we are born. We always find the end before the beginning. If to live means to continually search for wisdom, we'll find the end waiting after our last lesson. To finally see the subtlety of the end and understand it completely is what it means to die. We cannot help ourselves from growing wiser. Those who are helpless to their search for knowledge are those who cannot transcend death.

    Thank you very much! Just wondering, how do you realise who is just hurt and who is actually needing help?

    I thought that only meant they weren't at full health. What if they are at 0 health?

    Sorry for the thread resurrection.

    But....I have been trying to rescue people and cannot find how to do it.
    I can see red crosses on my screen to show who is hurt but whenever i rush to help someone who is a red dot on the map i don't see them in my location tab.
    I see plenty of players with a red cross next to them but have never seen anything like what is shown.
    Appreciate some help on this

    @dfferent

    The following explanation assumes you are at ground level - not in the subways or sewers.

    After you move to the square with the survivor in need of help icon, first press the 'refresh browser page' button on your device. F5 on a PC.

    If the red 'survivor needs help' icon is still there on your map/minimap, scroll to the bottom of your player screen. Look in the place where survivors at this location are normally listed. If you see someone with a red and white rescue button by their name, click rescue to save them.

    If you do not see anyone listed there, then the survivor needing rescue is in the subway/sewer level beneath your feet.

    With the recently released update we have introduced new attack types and new combat effects. It's important to stress that this is still the early phase of the planned advanced combat system which will also include a much more graphical interface and loot from killed opponents as well as being able to equip bayonets, scopes and other extensions to your weapons. Here is a short guide to how it works.
