There are about a dozen safehosue ideas every day so i jsut want everyone to put all their safehouse ideas in one place to keep the forums more organized.

It's not really urgent but how come there's no stat training for Wits in the safehouse? Also, you might consider having a clan stash system but be real careful about this, as I know there is a risk of zerging this way. Maybe some kind of point system to help prevent this? |

i know i've said this before somewhere, but i forget where so i'll write it again... i like keeping a stockpile of ammo at the safehouses just in case i run low when i'm out whacking zeds. thing is, when i want to put ammo in, it dumps ALL of the ammo into the locker. then i have to sit there and pull out ammo 1 at a time, which is fraking tedious. couldn't an option be added so you can dump/ pull out only what you want into the locker and keep the rest? i mean, its already there for selling items so why not for the storage locker? |

Good idea, every little bit counts, I think that you should be able to create a radio room in a safehouse (1000 CC) WHere it shows radio you can turn to your clan channel. And there can be songs picked out by the owner of the radio station and messages with whether a mic or simply text messages, It would be great to see whats going on in the clan without having to go to your clan page. |

Ya know i've been thinking, if people have safehouses set up, get power and water going...what about growing your own food? Its not that far fetched. If you have a good safehouse going people should be able to make small substance farms so players have an option to get food from another source. However, to make sure its not abused, the player must have his or her own seeds and care for the plant every certain amount of hours till its ready to harvest. Or they can work on the farm for a certain amount of time, like every 5 hours on the farm you get 2 or 3 food items whereas if you work for 10 hours on the farm you get 4 or 5 food items. Just an idea to toss around |

I have a completly diferent ideia: I know some people are familiar with "tower defense" games. I had an insight where clan members got a lot of zombies trying to overcome the barricades to get inside the safehouse and players should defend it wave by wave. (For thouse who don't know this kind of game look for UO Defender, play as long as you try to avoid the zombie wave ^^ ) (Another game with the zombie story line is "the last stand 2", its a flash game too, its not as fun as ZP, but it has the concept of "tower defense" I'm trying to use here.) It could be like this: 1- The safehouse have a dice roll to decide if there will be an zombie raid in a certein time, like a week, month..whatever; 2- In the safe house screen clan members have the option to join the defense, with theier own weapons and ammo; 3- It can have a countdown clock so clan members can get ready; 4- The waves (I haven't thought about "how many") come to smash the barricades from 150 distance and get closer as the turns passes (the sistem can use the lovely zombies from ZP to shuflle the raid); 5- Defenders will shoot as it gets on the range or wait untill they get close to the barricades for close combat; 6- If the barricades go down the HP from players will be targeted; 7- If they die the wave do an % dmg to the safehouse (I'll let this part to the developers cuz I'm no genius) 8- There must be an SP cost to join, of course. 9- All players, dead and survivors get the XP from the Zombies killed, XP for participation and an bonus if the waves were defeated; 10- clans can have a rank on this too if the developers agree; 11- ... 327 - My brain is frying... Since Final Fantasy 7 I allways play games looking for minigames on them. I have never seen an PBBG with minigames and I would like to know your opinion about it. Thanks for your time! |

In clan safehouses, there should be multiple levels of beds that you can purchase, which increase the amount of SP you receive over time by a certain amount. It caps out at ten hours, so you can't (as a premium member) just log out for 2 days and have your entire stamina bar refilled to 1440. Also, it's 1 person per bed  So if multiple people want to sleep on a bed, there need to be multiple beds purchased. |

I don't like to push the talk to SP. I don't need more and I'm not a premium player. I realy like the game, the game staff is doing a great job and I'm starting to think that they can do every thing if it fits the game. As a player I think that a horde of zombies getting closer and closer to the safehouse and survivors trying to kill them its part of it. The better part it that every detail is already there. We have the safehouse, we have the hords, and even riders, there is barricade HP, distance, zombie speed... its just a procedure thats not aranged to work this or that way. |

Great suggestion, lowerlander! I like it a lot! This will make the clan work together to defend the safehouse against the zombie horde. It can be also added a prestige system. I will explain: After each successfully defended attack the clan will receive prestige points, which will take part of the clan rankings page. If the clan doesn't manage to defend the safehouse, prestige points will be taken. Currently the clan rankings are based on the level of the people. This could be changed with the prestige system. More prestige will be a proof that the people of the clan are strong enough and can work together as one. What do you think? |

I also have another suggestion regarding the safehouse - a new facility called Clan Storage. People would be able to donate guns, ammo and clothes to it and only the clan leader will be able to take items from that facility and send it to the other players if needed. Of course a new role can be added as well - Manager. He will be able to distribute the items like the clan leader. The Clan Storage could be upgradeable - maximum 5 times(or more?) and each upgrade will add more storage capacity. |

I want their to be comfort items in safe houses. Things like cd players, Christmas tree lights, sexy lady posters, burning incense, heaters, burn barrels, etc. Things that players dont use to train, or anything like that, but they add a comfort to the safe house and make a small SP regen bonus, or a small stat increase if you spend enough time their. Every item like this could have a point value for (comfort) So if you have... Christmas tree lightsx1 ---- value 5 Sexy lady poster x2 ---- value 3 each and a radiox1 ---- value 8 (not to be turned up to loud of course, we dont want to alert the infected) In total this would be a 19 point comfort level bonus. I know characters dont even have a comfort stat, but Im saying this in hopes that something like it will be added some day. Note. Each cleared space of a safe house would only be able to hold a certain amount of comfort items. This would make having bigger safe houses having a bigger advantage. Right now it seems like you could have a broom closet for a safe house and not know the difference. Things that I think could be used like training time would be board games and such. You could click to join a game of scrabble for 10 hours and it would give bonues to your characters mental well being. Playing the board game while other players are simutaiously doing the same thing would give a bonus. It would be like when more than one person works on a safe house part. It speeds the time up. The more people playing the game the more fun you have. Of course the game would have a player limit. It would even say on the board game box like it does in real life (for 2 to 8 players) so this would be an in character reference to how many people can play at one time. |

I like your idea Seth! Everyone wants a quiet, comfortable place to rest in! It's a cruel world outside you know When the comfort reaches a certain level it may give one more stamina point regeneration, or one more point to your health regeneration(more acceptable for the devs). |

Okey. I'm a player from the game, i really like the game, it is my first time on this forum. I entered on a clan sometime ago, see how safehouses work and i really liked. I know many has this ideas, but i want to give mine, about the umplemented options of the safehouses. Living Quarters: The Living Quarters is space for extra survivors in the safehouse. Without room to rest, survivors wont be able to recuperate as fast My idea : When using the living quarters, you double your SP recovery speed. But only 5 players is permitted to stay on each of the slots containing living quarters. Generator: The generator provides power for most of the other facilities in the safehouse. My idea : The Generator cut the building and leveling time by 50%. Sicky bay: My idea: The sickbay is a place to heal the wounded. You can heal sickness and poison on the Sickbay. *see below. Sickness and poison are conditions that zombies can randomly infect on players. Sickness: Halves all player status (except HP and SP) Poison: Player loses 1 HP per square walked on map. This conditions can be healed with very-rare / very-costly itens, or on sick bay. Water purification: My idea: The water purification double the Heal HP option inside all safehouse, by the same SP cost. Look out post: My idea: Warn all members of the clan if there are zombies on the map coords near the safehouse, by coloring those squares (with orange boxes) so that the members can go and kill the zombies on the locations before they reach the safehouse and start damaging it. |

different building materials allow the building material storage to keep track of the different materials put in, and either require or give a bonus to construction based on the materials there. example: either require (or give bonuses) to weight room construction for dumbells in storage the basic materials can be left alone, and a purpose can be added easily for some of the other, useless items |

I think a clan shop idea would be a nice touch. One can sell items at the regular sale price and then others can see what is for purchase at the normal buying price. Any profits earned could be put as CP in the safehouse at a fixed rate. "I said we're stronger than this now, you resurrected mistakes years past it seemed. And they exist still to haunt you!" |

Water purifier every day you can get a certain amount of water from it(depending on level) Also think that eventually should get thirst and hunger levels that affect other things |

I suggest an option to spend SP and barricade points to build traps for incoming zeds. The landmine and other explosives you loot or buy in the city is needed for building such a trap, as well as a high amount of technical or smarts to build more advanced or effective traps. This is a bit unbalanced since the survivors have the advantage, even when they spend sp and money on explosives and parts. So I propose that maybe some of the traps turns out to be a dud or fails to trigger if its not being maintained. |

Yeah, Arcangelus. I totally agree. Now that SP costs are a lot more higher, most clans can't afford to build traps when they're too costly. |

Now some question: Why do you need a generator for a locker? Is a locker with electronic lock? A padlock also work. Why we need energy for a boxing ring? Is It an automatized boxing ring? Our weight room, Have it electronics weights? The Shooting Range have mobile target, and for that we need energy? Well, that it. Any error(grammatical or other), please let me know. |
