I Played Dead Awaken a lot, and was addicted for a long time!

anyone considering joining: sign up at the Pastafarian Brotherhood, and tell them I am OK!
It is a good game with a strong forum.

Quarantine 2019 is pretty cool. I think it's better than Urban Dead.

Dead Frontier is also pretty badass, but I haven't been on in a while.
Shhh...my common sense is tingling.

after doing a loooong search in the internet as all of you i guess dead frontier is the best non text based brower zombie game and with the new 3d feature well it makes it better but the game turns to be rutinary after several weeks of play it, zombie pandemic atm is the best text based zombie game because you can actually figth manually not like other text based games that you have to wait ten minutes to see the next message:

*you found a zombie and you engage combat
- you kick his balls doing 5 damage
- you didnt realized that it was a chuck norris zombie and he kick your balls 1000 times doing infinite damage
- believe it or not youre dead....

well there is this game "eternal city 2" i looked for it at you tube but everything shows that is in japanese i dont know any more of this game if someone knows something about it like how to register and download the client pm plz.

Urban Dead, I was with Guild call Malton Police Department, those was good o' day, save people, kill unreasonable pker and undead, barricaded some important building, but they lack of so many content that i feel sorry to leave the guild

ah well, i so play Dead frontier but they really hard to maintain my survivor hunger and all. ah well, blame my noobish way.

and now Zombie Pendamic, well it see decent than Urban dead and more balance than Dead Frontier. still too early to tell so i stick around here.

Oh in case of wonder. i do make these videos tribute for these two games. i'll post it on other thread since this video are a bit off topic

Urban Dead (...) is not a mmo or an rpg but it sure is fun. Google search Last Stand, or Last Stand 2. Very fun. Its more fun if you get lucky and get the pump shotgun in the beggening but I never seem to get it. Arrrg!!

It has around 5.000 active users, character customization, a “level system” and a fair lot of folks who like to think of themselves as 21st-century Ash Williamses. In the traditional sense, it's much more RPG-ish than your average stream-lined Nihonese* “RPG”. But don't get me wrong, I'm not defending anybody: role-playing is still mad gay.

* Coming from the glorrius rand of the rrising sun, for all of you bakas out there.

role-playing is still mad gay.

BAD! BAD! BAD!

that sentence is wrong in every single way, people saying "RP is gay" are usually the people that are "to cool".

If you go under that category, i would not say you have anything to do with a MMORPG!

Zombie Pandemic is a free browser based survival horror MMORPG.

Lets see, where have i seen that before... OH YES! Link: HERE

http://www.die2nite.com/#index

as quoted from Neogaf member:

"This game just got out of beta a few days ago. The premise is as such:

You and 39 other players are thrown together in a town in the middle of the wasteland. Every night at midnight (in my games it has been 4pm CST) a horde of zombies attack the town. For every point of defense you have, you block 1 zombie. You have to work with the other players to build the town up, including improved defenses or other upgrades that help you in various ways. Each night the attacks usually grow stronger and stronger (not always), so you constantly have to be improving things. This requires quite a bit of coordination between the 40 inhabitants of the town.

Each day (a real 24 hour day) you get 6 action points to work on projects in town or wander around the wasteland searching for supplies. Doesn't sound like a lot, but searching the wasteland is free and moving around the town is free. What you actually spend points on are walking around the wasteland (1 Action Point per square), and labor projects in town (building a pump for the well costs 25 AP, you basically contribute however many you want).

You can replenish your AP in a number of ways, the easiest way is by drinking water, which gives you back 6 AP. There is a town well and as a citizen you get 1 water ration per day. If you don't drink at all you will get thirsty and then dehydrated and then die, so you have to drink water regularly. The town has a limited supply so you either need to upgrade your well to get more water or find water in the desert.

You can also eat food to replenish AP, but this recovers a variable amount. Some foods actually give you more than 6 AP (steak gives you 7). There are also questionable things you can eat which can have negative side effects if you aren't careful.

You can also drink alcohol to get your action points back, or take drugs, but these have serious side effects, such as the chance to get addicted, or hungover.

So you can walk 6 spaces out into the desert, search for several hours, then drink water and walk back. You could also put 6 action points into a project in town, drink water, then put 6 more, eat food then put 6 more for a total of 18 points.

The really great part of this game is the interactions between the citizens. Anyone taking more than their share of supplies or otherwise acting recklessly can be banished from the community by a vote. They still get to stay within the walls but they are denied access to the well and the bank (they can put things in but can't take things out). Every area of the town has a message board where you can talk to each other, and communication is vital as you need to plan out your building strategies based on what materials you get from searching the wasteland. It's also fun when someone notices a player hoarding supplies and they gang up on them, banishing them quickly. You can also lock people outside of the gates, where they will likely die (supposedly there is a way to survive outside after midnight but I don't know how yet or they haven't implemented it yet).

If you die, you're gone. Your town goes on without you. You can immediately join a new town that is just starting up.

You can pay money to play as a "hero" which gives you special abilities (for instance a normal player can sit on a map square and auto-search it every 2 hours, a scavenger hero can auto-search every 1:30, scouts can sneak past zombies, etc) however the game is free if you just want to play an ordinary citizen.

The only bad thing about this game is that you are thrown into random towns with no way of picking who you want to play with. If you have friends then you just need to get lucky to play with them, UNLESS one of your friends buys the hero upgrade, then he can form a group of up to 5 players that all join the same town he does."

Soo... I joined the Die2Nite...
Uh, I guess it HAS some potential, as I realy like the idea. But still can't get used to it... nothing to do, 6 AP max is just not enough O.o

I'll give it another try anyway, so the nick is Swansong

@ Emily :Well it does show that people are selfish & i dont think that hero system is useful when you dont know the game .It has lots and lots of magical barriers BUT THE IDEA IS VERY GOOD you just have to be lucky to meet the right people there
Uh if I had known bout the sponsor thingy earlier i would have used Your nick.

Doesn't matter

I'm in a second town now (in the first I died during the zombie attack on day 3) and it seems much better there. Lotta experienced people, quite organized too... Hope we will last long this time!

Too bad there is nothing like a "friend list", then we could keep in touch in Die2Nite

I think Die2Nite is pretty cool. If you wanna live anywhere past one or two days then you have to work with other players.

6 AP does suck, but you can replenish AP's with food and water. Definitely a game you can come back to every now and then throughout the day, instead of all in one go like ZP or UD.

Ive been playing hellrising for a really long time, though I haven't really been playing nowadays since there is a lull in members. But I think its great, if it actually has players its really fun, though its purely pvp. Actually this game really reminds me of a mix between dead frontier and hellrising/urandead

Then there is scrollwars, which in its basis is not a zombie game at all, but a fantasy one. There are zombie related enemies mind you since its land had some sort of zombie invasion for halloween. The game has a steep learning curve though, you really need to read the wiki pages in order to truly understand how to play properly.

A game I recently started playing: http://www.zombieharvest.com?r=590

Looks nice, different from other zombie games and it doesn't take too much time. You can play it like 5 minutes every 6 hours.

Whoops didn't realize how old this topic is! ah well never mind!

Nashkir, just looked, and there's rumors but nothing concrete. admittedly the rumors are pretty old...

Anyways...

I still play Urban Dead, which i have since its first day live i'm (a mega fan!) ...although it seems to be slowly dying, what with no new updates and a dwindling player base, not to mention a pretty much dead wiki and forums.

Oh, and all the Last Stand Games are good fun; best way to kill an hour or so.

The Zombie Hoard series of games are quite simply classic, with ZH 3 being the best. their on crazymonkeygames.com, but you gotta search for it as it's pretty old. you can download the games too which is pretty cool.

in all honestly, ZP is a leap and bound of a progression from Urban Dead. 'nuff said about this amazing game.
