Has anyone heard of this potential new television series called Lifeless? Some type of pandemic has killed most of the worlds population and is bringing them back as undead.
A global pandemic has decimated the population and left the cities deserted. When a handful of survivors find themselves stranded in the aftermath, with the dead returning to life, they must rely on each other to live in a world overrun by the walking dead. Lifeless is an episodic drama developed to be devoured by the world via television and the web.
from Director David Sasich:
"A global pandemic has decimated the population and left the cities deserted. When a handful of survivors find themselves stranded in the aftermath, with the dead returning to life, they must rely on each other to live in a world overrun by the walking dead. Lifeless is an episodic drama of survival horror."
Q: Will we see survivor vs survivor fighting that is popular in many games, and even in many of the zombie styled films?
A: Absolutely. Their is a faction of survivors that cause much trouble for our cast.
www.lifelesstheseries.com/media.php Here are some teaser clips on their website (Start from the bottom and work your way up)
Their website can be found Here: www.lifelesstheseries.com/index.php
Their is also a mailing list for more, and new information at info@lifelesstheseries.com

I was able to see a full version of the first episode, and I must say I was actually surprised by the storyline and dialog.
Yes of course your going to get the typical trenchie style of talk, but their are what I believe to be a few gems in the first viewing.
It's not really filled with gore, as it is geared for television, however, their are moments of suspense and slight shocks now and then.
Their is also word that their will be many cameos as zombies or the like. Alone in the first episode I saw Simon Pegg, and, Nick Frost (Both from Shaun of the Dead & Hot Fuzz fame) and their is a rumor that Rob Zombie and George A Romero have or will be lending their talents to later episodes or even do their own walk on.
This has the potential to be rather amazing if they are allowed to do things as they wish. However it could be the polar opposite if some big name company buys it out and changes things. |

Sounds really cool. We (the dev team) will have to look out for that one. |

Since today you can watch the first three episodes on fearnet.com. Has anyone seen them yet? What do you think about the series? I got through the first one and well, I don't like it. Felt quite bored. Stiff acting, very not scary zombies and where the hell are the colours? I mean I like b/w movies, but not a wannabe grayish tone like that. If it gets better in the following episodes, please tell me |

I have been waiting for Lifeless for almost 2 years now and it was not even worth the wait. I, too, could not stand the washed out colors, bad acting, and several plot holes that made no sense. I suffered through the 3 episodes and feel like a zombie myself. The last 2 minutes of episode 3 seemed to be the best part. I won't even ask why two of the episodes were less than 20 minutes if they were pushing this for network release. I guess releasing it on Fearnet was one notch above SyFy..... There are other series coming out (or already out - 'The Last Stand') that I am going to try watching. |

Personally I like it. The black guy is by far one of the worst actors so far...but still enjoyable. I enjoy the flashbacks to explain their lives but way to short they should make it at least an hour an episode. I will keep trying to watch it though but I will need to check out other stuff to. |

They only made those three episodes in hoping to attract a major network here in the US. I think with what was shown in those three short shows, it was simply pathetic for a regular TV series as advertised. What was shown on FearNet was meant to be shown on FearNet, which is a step above SyFy..... I spent two years waiting to see something more positive and I think mainstream TV Zombie shows will not be showing anytime soon. |

There was a tv series about the dead coming back to life, but they weren't eating people. As far as I know anyways, the show ended after only a few episodes. It was really good too. I'm not sure if it was the same show you're talking about. |

Looking at the media part of the site, that doesn't really look like that great of a tv show... It's such a horrible looking thing, but it may be interesting if they actually put some time and effort into their things. I'm going to try to watch the 3 episodes mentioned earlier, and see how those are. But chances are, they won't be the greatest... Zombie things are just sooo hard to get right, it's kinda of depressing. D: |
