I am not feeling the new map colors; some are overpowering and i think it can hurt some peoples eyes.
I dont like the combat animations, I'm accustomed to clicking what I want then getting to that page, but now on the combat page these animations make the combat seem slow and I dont really know why I need to see the animations anyway ( which on my 15" laptop screen when I take on more that 12 targets the combatants are out of sight and I have to scroll down to see it then scroll back up to make my next move).
As for the extra sp cost for advancing and running; I am not a fan of that either, but it may be more because it seems too many things are taking too much sp from me: eating takes alot as does combat as does dodging combat, I'm seeing my character as a person just about to have a heart attack who cant really exert himself or he'll die. I think there needs to be some SP balancing.

Can we get a toggle to turn the animations off?

I am like i killemdead,,,, more then 4 enemies and I can not see the animations anyway, and it does nothing to add to the game in any realistic way, but does slow it down drasticly. Just make it a profile option that can be turned on or off from the profile sheet.

I would love to see the scrolling messages on the right side of the screen done the same way as to me its useless information, and its always in the way. I often have to pause and wait for it to finally disappear to click links needed to progress such as when Zed hunting. After killing a mob I have to wait 5 to 10 seconds for all the useless info to finally scroll off the screen so I can click the enemies tab again. Why is the useless info repeated twice BTW?


I mean I can get the battle log from the link at the bottom, why am I forced to veiw it in a location that slows or stops gameplay?

What are these battle animations everyone keeps going on about? I see no animations at all. Just the vibration of the enemies as I hit them with a burst of SMG or Assault Rifle fire.

vibrating zombie, bullet hole/slash (depending on attack), text with "hit/miss/critical" and how much damage each hit did.

I don't like the animations for two purposes: They slow down combat, and I can barely see them. I don't scroll down to view combat, so all i see are the buttons being blacked out for a period of time. And i HATE the new advancing system. It is awful, especially when you are trying to advance long distances, and you put it to x10. Sometimes you'll keep advancing towards one zombie while another one which is faster than the first one is already in range striking you. It's not a problem because they rarely hit, but it is irritating to find out that instead of one zombie in close combat, you're now facing three or four and are much closer than you'd like to be to the rest of them.

With the recently released update we have introduced new attack types and new combat effects. It's important to stress that this is still the early phase of the planned advanced combat system which will also include a much more graphical interface and loot from killed opponents as well as being able to equip bayonets, scopes and other extensions to your weapons.
