Agreed
.....maybe not zombies in a conventional sense, but with all things considered equal the "infected" in 28 Days and 28 Weeks are more-or-less zombies
Granted....the infected in 28 Days aren't walking-dead- rotting-flesh-on-the-bone traditional zombies....and they are more active (and much quicker on the hoof), but you gotta admit the similarities are obvious.
Both become infected through body fluid transfer, mindless acts of violence, nomadic wandering.....if it looks, smells, and acts like a zombie....well you get the idea.
.....although surprisingly enough, the infected in 28 Days and 28 Weeks
DO have a shorter shelf-life than "normal" zombies because the "rage" affects their thinking so much that the forget about eating
....if you can hunker down for a week or two (depending on the eminent spreading of the disease) and wait for the infected to starve to death....problem solved
.....now get out there and clean up the dead bodies
