Screw the Talking Dead host.....28 Days Later and the sequel ARE zombie movies, not some plague type movie. The disease literally kills the host and takes over the body with rage....if it were like a plague type thing, the people would be like "The Crazies"....fully intact and human like. The zombies in 28 Days/28 Weeks are clearly dead and mutilated. Just had to get that out.

.....maybe not zombies in a conventional sense, but with all things considered equal the "infected" in 28 Days and 28 Weeks are more-or-less zombies

Granted....the infected in 28 Days aren't walking-dead- rotting-flesh-on-the-bone traditional zombies....and they are more active (and much quicker on the hoof), but you gotta admit the similarities are obvious.
Both become infected through body fluid transfer, mindless acts of violence, nomadic wandering.....if it looks, smells, and acts like a zombie....well you get the idea.
.....although surprisingly enough, the infected in 28 Days and 28 Weeks DO have a shorter shelf-life than "normal" zombies because the "rage" affects their thinking so much that the forget about eating
....if you can hunker down for a week or two (depending on the eminent spreading of the disease) and wait for the infected to starve to death....problem solved

Whenever I have bad dreams, it usually entails "28 Days Later" type zombies.....I do NOT want to be running all hard from smart zombies hahah.

If they are slow Ill just juke them. BTW, did you notice in the last few episodes of the Walking Dead (which I thought were the classic, slow moving zombies) were moving FAST after Shane and Otis (I think thats his name?). HMMM

Yeah me and my brother nicnamed the new Zombies from "shamblers" to "joggers" LOL Hope they do not see sprinters next or the fat guys are screwed.

Nope....the 28 days was how long it took for the "rage" to go from a contained lab experiment to a full-blown "end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it" pandemic after the activist twerp was bitten by the chimp in the cage

As the story went...it took a week or two more after the initial 28 days for the remaining infected to starve to death

....and even then, the pandemic did continue for "28 Weeks Later"

I still have not seen the 28 weeks later.

Eh, I can see both sides of the arguments. In my opinion, it's a zombie flick.
