There should be a run down casino that is still in use so people can go and gamble for money. All of the basic games will be available like slots, black jack, poker, etc.

It could be run by some thug gang that moved in after the infection. Now they have claimed it for there own and are trying to make a profit too. Some tables could be rigged xD Slots would be fun. They could sell candy, cigarettes, and bullets behind the counter. haha

Maybe the backroom of "Guido's Pizza Shop" or betting on the mahjong at "Long Duck Dong's Delivery" (both potential new locations) and you need to complete a quest or two to access it. I also always prefer gambling routines that mimic the fact that the house always wins.

It would probably be a pain to implement but I also wouldn't say no to a live real player poker game somewhere - especially if we could bet equipment as well as money.

What if another option would be someone who has set up a zombie vs. zombie arena where you could bet on the zombie fights or you could risk your own neck to fight. . .

Zombie pit fights could be brutal. This is another area where faction could come into play. Maybe you don't like the idea of putting those poor zeds to death at one another. So you do quests for some peace clan, and you get special shops through them. But now you cant ever go to the zombie pit fights. And vise versa.

There could be different factions, like you said, Seth. Perhaps one faction wants to research the zombies, see if they can be used to find new cures and vaccines for the human good. And another would want them destroyed completely. And a third might view them as their masters!

Faction System is a good idea ,also thre could be faction quests and rewards for lets say fame points. 3 Factions mentioned by zed seems ok.

I once played an online undead browser game that implemented flash mini-games, one of which was a tombstone slot machine. It worked rather well.

Casinos are only fun when you win money. I would be very pissed if I made all this money then I suddenly lose everything I had. Its the main reason why I quit playing Dead Frontier and started playing Zombie Pandemic.

Well, then just don't use em'. My main concern about gambling though is that people will start using real money somehow...

    start using real money somehow...

Could you elaborate on that? 'cause as for me ,now its not a good idea .ways of supporting the game should not be connected with real cash gambling like blackjack or sth .There is something very vague in such method of gambling and making real money of it
