was just thinking about a old Dawn Of The DEAD board game it was a little on the cheap made game it seems I think it was a Steve Jackson game but may not have been. I wish I still had it. One person controlled the zombies I think and the others the people in the mall.

Sounds like its similar to Last Night on Earth a fairly new board game:

I have that one. I also have Zombies!!!:

Two very different games, Last Night is a coop game where the survivor players work together against 1 or 2 zombie players. There are different scenarios with different victory conditions. You can do with 1 zombie player, two zombie players is unnecessary.

Zombies!!! is a very simple game where the players as survivors compete against each other in order to get to the helicopter first, constantly causing setbacks for the other players. Can be hilarious when one player is about to win and all the others are doing everything they can to stop him. Its kind of random who wins, so there should be no hard feelings.

I have that game I think. It comes with 6 little survivor pieces, and like 200 grey zombie pieces. I love those little zombies. I have brought them to D&D several times so the DM can use them as enemy tokens. I also have the expansion set that gives you military base tiles, and glow in the dark green zombies. I agree though, it is random. That's what I didn't like about it. I also didn't like how players choose where the new areas are at. To me it should be where a player reaches an edge, you have to put a new piece.

At least its fast, I would hate to play a random game that takes all day. Placing the tiles is part of the fun where you piss other players off by placing the good tiles next to  yourself and far away from them.
