What about some zombies that either have "mutated" zombie with sharp claws or happen to be carrying sharp objects like sharpened scraps of metal. Their attacks would have a piercing effect this can bypass bullet proof vests, so a player would have to use a different kind of armor to counteract the threat.

Zombies that are on fire. They can ignite the player and do heavy damage per turn.

Zombies that vomit blood sort of like left 4 dead. They will have a little range and could possibly blind the player.

Running zombies. High agility.

Zombies that have heightened senses like maybe smell and can either alert others like urbandead or have a easier time finding players in the dark.

A pack of zombie dogs.Yikes!

Ok, Ok, this is pushing it, but how about a really rare zombie that can use a fire arm like Bub from Day of the Dead or Bid Daddy from Land of the Dead.

Just some ideas to give the game some variety because all the enemies do the same thing get close than swing. The only variation is in their stats.

How about a zombie pilot since we have crashed planes and choppers it could have blood soked military fatigues and a helmet with the oxygen mask swinging from one side and this unseeing blank stare. oh and i thought about a "semi zombie" character i.e. a bitten person who is not dead yet. you can encounter such a npc character and fight it just like raider or something plus it could use pistols and various types of weapons .What do think ?

Nope like some ordinary citizen of the town who just wasnt lucky enough and was bitten(But did not die yet) .He is so desperate that he just wants to kill everyone in sight

well i agree, but test subject B can use guns and therefore is something like the NPC your trying to describe

Nono! its a good idea, and i agree with it, a <<"will be" zombie maniac>> npc is a nice thing, only that Test subject B already pulls the zombie gunner

Also i said "like test subject B" and more Npc's you can kill, the better variation, the more time will take before you grow tired of the same NPC's, like in WoW where most regions have 1 of the same spider, only painted in another color xD

I agree, too. People go crazy in everyday life, and are bound to do so in a crisis under psychological pressure. Imagine a serial killer, religious fanatics ("Kingdom come!" and whatnot), raiders, organized groups of which you are not a member, gangs, intoxicated or just mad people.

Also, as said before, it'd add some new challenges (I am fine with mostly, like 95%, zombies though!)

Imagine a psycho sniper. you have to advance onto him because he is shooting at you from like 170 away. It would almost make the player feel like the zombie moving in on its target, taking shots for each advancement. Unless your a sniper too. Then just go prone and pop his scull. xD

I was thinking of tougher and stronger zombies. What about groups of riot zombies? or like a SWAT squad of zombies? That'd be really epic to kill, since all have armor. So For a armored group or different sizes I vote yes!

I'd like to see some really powerful zombies - either some kind of bosses (just really tough zombies of some kind) or huge hordes. I'm not picky exactly about what they are, but I'd enjoy a challenge

Rogue army platoon (5-6 soldiers gone crazy, scary)

Crazed sniper (long range death but pathetic close up)

Zombie Pimp (how awesome looking would he be!)

Street punks (2-3 gun wielding gangsters)

Steroid Zombie (scary zombie that has immense strength and health)

And yes we need religious fanatics or cultists.
