I'd just like to point out for those considering systems that involve permanent gear loss, or an inevitable wearing down into uselessness, that such a system would likely hurt the the shop's income. I'm sure plenty of us already find it questionable to spend real money on gear for a browser game as it is. But to spend it on stuff we know we are going to lose? I certainly wouldn't do it.

The game is getting hard now by the intro of Hunger, its alread hard to find food items and therefore money goes lower in the pockets apart from the fact that you also have to spend 3sp per can of food, its inadmissable. I have a premium and if I was to buy the premium after this upgrade I would have not did it. I am against this issue of repairing things too. Its also another extra cost of Sp when its just a miserable 480Sp for non-premium. Its all to spend money. |

I vist them 1 time every 72 hrs and bring home 15 to 20 food items each time. 36 was my best in 1 haul. On top of that the street vender close to our safe house sells chocolate bars for 10$. $200 for 20 bars replenishes a full hunger bar. I keep 40 stored in my safehouse locker all the time. I eat any food I find during my travels and "top off" the hunger gauge when I get back to safety. I'm sure there are other dealers who sell food items cheap enough, you just have to find them. **This is map 1 only, I have not been to map 2 and do not know the conditions there** |

I suggest making a looting route - stay in ur safehouse, defending and supporting, then loot from one end of the map to the next, going thru all the good loot spots like pharmacies and markets, reach the next safehouse and rest until u max sp, support and defend for a day, than go on with ur looting run. i've made 4 routes in map 1 alone and i get to loot 3-4k on a lucky day. try that to help satiate your need for hunger and xp. |

as someone that has played this game for a little while, and has seen how weapons breaking has been done in other games, I think that it would be good, but only if done carefully. one way is to make the number of uses effect a weapon's status based on a ratio; basically, weapons such as the crowbar could have a rating of 20/1, which would mean 20 successful hits on a zombie would reduce the total damage by 1%, while weapons such as the guitar could have a rating of 1/50, which means 1 successful hit would reduce the damage by half; this would make players go for weapons that would last awhile over weapons that have high damage, or are fairly common. guns could have the same rating, but it would apply to chance of jamming, i.e. 30/1 for 30 rounds fired to 1% jam. also, since this falls somewhat under this heading: ammo would have the same rating system, with bullets being 1/100, and ammo such as arrows could have 1/10, for 10 shots before it is no longer usable. |

My 2 cents. If you implement a weapon durability system to the game, a firearm degrading wont affect it's damage in the slightest. The bullet will do the same amount of damage whether the weapon is clean or dirty. Where it will make a difference is in the accuracy and reliability of the weapon. Then you have to take into account the different weapon systems, and just how reliable and accurate they are in the first place. Some pistols, especially revolvers, are very tolerant of being dirty, and some semi-auto pistols are as well. The desert eagle for example is a gas blowback system rather than purely recoil operated. Much like the AK-47 is a gas piston driven system feeds more reliably than the direct gas impingement system on the AR-15/M-16 platform. The AR/M-16 platform makes up for this in accuracy though. It's not a simple system to do, and should be researched thoroughly before implementing it. |

As an aside to what I said above, upgrading a weapon shouldn't automatically have a negative effect on the weapon. A heavier frame on a revolver, or heavier cylinder would actually make the weapon sturdier and more reliable. Much like adding a different trigger system or bolt to an AR/M-16 platform, or even swapping that system to a gas piston system instead of the direct impingement. Those mod kits do exist. Just don't implement a breaking feature to it.. people that have paid for the premium weapons would kind of be getting ripped off if they bought something and it 'broke'. What would be the point of buying it? |

Upgrade/Modify Yes, please. Durability/Repair HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm already spending lots of money on bullets as it is. There's no way I'm gonna support this. If you add repair crap, you better plan on giving all guns infinite ammo as well. |
