Maybe you should implement the need for cleaning kits for firearms. Of course, the M14 doesn't need a kit since there's already one stored in the butt!

I'm interested in the crafting feature, I even invested 50 points in technical and smarts (had to skip close combat and fortitude) in case I needed that amount of skill to upgrade my weapons and armor.

What about mounts? or "rides"? to reduce the SP required for traveling.
Skateboard to reduce the SP req by 1
Bicykle to reduce the SP req by 2
Scooter to reduce the SP req by 3

Fuel for scooter could be obtained by looting cars and gas stations with some kind of tool requierment.

i already sent a support ticket about adding vehicles n such for the game i think that will definitely be a cool addition to da game. low SP cost to travel (very far too) but u need to maintain da vehicle just like a safehouse...i like da idea i think more ppl should send support tickets to help add this feature or at least have them consider it

How do you send a support ticket? I would like to support the addition of vehicles or mounts in the game.

Like upgrading an agility perk, we could use a mount properly or maintain it by its sister perk in technical, for example:
Skateboarding - Agility perk to skillfully use skateboards
Cycling - agility perk to skillfully ride a bicycle; Maintenance - technical perk which includes maintaining bicycles

There will also be traps assigned to the mounts like "the tires of your bicycle blew due to glass pieces on the street" or "its too difficult to skate here" when you have low level on the specific mount perks.

i sent a report about a day or 2 ago ...i didn't know you needed a friend to compose a message to send to your clan ...so why can't we compose messages to send to anyone without adding a friend first?

Two ideas from a new player:

1. Keeping a "notebook" of contents of each of your safehouse lockers. Possibly making pen/pencil and notebooks available as scavenge/purchase items to enable the feature. Possibly link it to your journal as well.

2.a During combat, the ability to back up from encoming hordes (tactical withdrawal?). Your base speed is 10 (higher than the zeds), so instead of firing or advancing you could retreat a ways putting some distance between you and the zeds again. Would not work once you've started hand to hand combat and could be restricted to once or twice per combat. Would still use SP.

b. The ability to simply wait. Instead of advancing or running, just hold your ground so distant zeds get into range but not as quickly as both parties advancing. No rounds fired, no SP used.

We already have a notebook linked with our Journal.
Just check the Journal and you'll see it has two "tabs" - Journal Entries and Notes.

There, you can write whatever you want/need

Yeah, saw the Notes a little while ago. Still, I think a record of your safehouse inventories would be useful.

I think what he meant was, an AUTOMATIC Inventory notebook. It'd be awful time consuming keeping personal track of every item in multiple safehouses. and the player notepad isn't THAT big! lol

By making it so that you can turn into zombies via infection or from the start and then can easiy turn back to human again by simply getting cured I feel may take away from the game's story somewhat, while also stepping heavily into 'Urban Dead' territory if I'm honest.

Maybe in order to really hype up the fear factor of being turned or infected, items and money should be lost during death, so those with a lot of stuff will fear being attacked or turned. Also, if there was some sort of ingame story event that reveals a new mutation within the zombie strain allowing for some to gain skills (i.e. L4D's Special Infected) it would help give the player controlled zombies perks and skills of their own. Also, in order to not mix up things with the NPC zombies, maybe keeping things as they are should be best with no infection from being beaten by them, reserving that for the player controlled Zeds, therefore making them much more feared even if still pretty weak.

Explaining that these 'Special Zeds' haven't fully rotted away and are in early stages would also help in believing a vaccine or cure could be found, and this would be good in terms of item drops. Imagine a vaccine that allows you to survive one infection per drug...

With the recently released update we have introduced new attack types and new combat effects. It's important to stress that this is still the early phase of the planned advanced combat system which will also include a much more graphical interface and loot from killed opponents as well as being able to equip bayonets, scopes and other extensions to your weapons.
