the only zombie books i'v read are zombie survival guide and breathers, I purchased World War Z for my self and never read it, although my girl friend likes it, its her read it once a day book but she likes it, i however could not finish it. breathers on the other hand was good, its told from the zombie perspective and was pretty good its almost like the movie fido but there are more zombies...

I loved The Zombie Survival Guide and I found it to be useful in the case of an actual zombie attack. xD

World War Z is helpful when learning how you must prepare yourself mentally for the Zombie apocalypse. Survival guide is good too, although there are many more different types of out breaks than it states. Just hope to god it's virus and not parasitical! Kureno and I have seen a movie on it that was totally lame, but a good thing to watch since not many people really think of that kind of zombie.

Finished World War Z. The next book will be pride and prejudice and zombies.

I saw it, but didn't have the money to buy it. But i'll get it from the library or something.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was actually pretty terrible. It was funny at first, but too dry and, after a while, predictable. I read half of it, then had to put it down. It might be better if you haven't read Pride and Prejudice (or seen any of the films). Sens and Sensibility and Sea Monsters is pretty much the same. The same authors also wrote Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, which looks totally amazing, but I haven't been able to brave it after attempting to read their first book. Let me know if it's any good.

World War Z was interesting, at least for me. I never read breathers. I think the best aspect of WWZ was how it took into account Ethnic and Religous barriers that actually exist between us people. it's just a new way to look at everything. pretty much anything Max Brooks is alright for me though.

Max Brooks was brilliant with both his books, and while parts of the social commentary are enough to make me smile, I think he's good at the darker side of it. If anything, Brooks mocks the light hearted endings you see in films and cartoons best. It's gritty literature pretty much at its peak.

That's sad about pride and prejudice.

I don't think most people here would read breather's since it's from the zombie's point of view and how to survive in a world of the living.

True, for now it's entertainment and myth, but if it actually happens, you'd be scared.

Lol, imagine a zombie invasion in Texas, the zombies wouldn't last a week.
In here, Chile, my little country, we almost (ALMOST!) don't have guns.
Hey, I want to buy WWZ because I've heard it is interesting, but my local book shop doesn't sell it. What is it about?
