ok so...i realized this not to long ago, as you have seen with *gag* twilight *gag* vampires went though a fad faze...now it seems to me that zombies have turned down the same road, i have been a fan of everything zombie for 6 years plus or minus a year or two but i still have been a die hard fan, but to my main point, many people i am aware of are getting in to it and i can see it gaining popularity and then dieing just like *gag* twilight *gag* did for vampires, is there anything us true zombie fanatics can do to save our favorite hobby?

i find it odd that nobodies worried about a werewolf or vampire apocalypse, but if you google zombie you get a million survival websites? people really take zombies seriously!

Im not sure if I speak for everybody but I have a hard time taking skinny, frail, pale kids who wear tight black clothes/pants seriously.

well alot of cristians i know talk about how the true endtimes are coming, i would not be supprised, have you seen the degrigation of society?

True now we have economic crisis,or whats left of it.People work for 12hrs a day in highly stressful conditions.(afterwards they look even like zeds)There is this constant uncertainty about tomorrow.With zombies there is always this fear for the afterlife.I was always wandering how easly our country would collapse if the s*it hit the fan. All we need is to wait.Maybe its putting too much ideology into zombies but i think they might symbolize all what is rotten in our society . Or more globally in humankind.And not everyone wants to see it in that way.So the teens dressed black prefer to watch rather a vampire saga with love blood tension and wahatsoever then a "soo ugly" zombie movie.I like it as it is now i.e. that not everybody is interested in zombeis. let it stay that way.I never walked alongside the crowd.

ive seen alot of emo kids who think they are vampires, thats different than the large number of x military ive noticed on these z survival sites.

Well yeah survival in harsh conditions is more in favour then running with garlic in fear of volves this is obvious because people really need to live.You do have a point ninja we need to know how to survive duriing a war-time. That is why survival sites are more acurate. We use stuff and advice which is preasent there.The problem is First aid for instance most people do not have any idea how to make a propper dressing of a wound. or resuscitation,and these things are explained there.

There are so many factors that could create a zombie that it baffles me how people see it as impossible. To me, it's just a matter of time. I hope sooner, than later. xD

i agree with seth, there are so extremely many ways to imagine a zombie, its almost sad, because if you specialize in one type, and its one other type, your fucked xD

lol Anyway, we don't want zombies to be a fad, because the apocalypse is supposed to weed out the stupid and unprepared from the survivors. So many damn scenarios. I guess they're all visions of the deterioration of the masses.

the thing that creeps me out is that most people on those kinda z day survival sites wanna shoot other survivors in the leg to aid in their own escape, or some other jerk reason.

i think that people are blowing zombies out of proportion, how simple is it to kill ether? solonum is a easy shot to the head and the "rage/infected" are taken down just as easily as a human?
