Probably the very first one. I was about 15 when it first came out. It was just a newer feeling to have a game become a movie back then. And it wasn't a terrible film. But as time went on, they milked the series too much. Also, they could have made Greg (The Nemesis) look a lot bigger and scarier. But the first film has the best memories for me. I remember it being a huge pain because they wanted our parents to be there when we got the tickets. The theater was all strict at the time. So we had to drive all over, picking up my friends parents. Gahhh it was fun xD

i liked degen just because it was animated, i have an animator's eye so i like all the kiddies animated movies and such...

I like all of them. I even heard from a fan that they're going to come out with another movie. They set it up perfectly in the last movie, but it's just taken so many nonsense twists that don't even compliment the plot line. They're skills at making the movies are good, but they're just milking it now.

I haven't really seen any of them except the animated one... I need to fix that....

The one with Mila jovovich, where she wakes up in the shower and wakes up in a hospital bed, and the one where she wakes up in a giant test tube.

well, you just came up with the 3 "Real" RE movies, ALTHOUGH i agree, Mila Jovovich is extremely good in the role, and these movies are the best ones!

Personally i despise the third one but i am very much for the second one,although the bad-guy punishment theme is a big clische. *click-click* oops to tell you something 'bout the first ,for me the music is great there technical cleanness of the labs(electronic music) contrasted with strong guitars and contaminated hordes was a good thing.

The reason I liked the real movies so much is because you got to saw Mila naked. She also dyed her hair for the role. And yes, before you ask, she dyed that too. XD

I didn't like the RE movies they ruined the story. Warm hearted NEMESIS???? Alice with psychokinetic powers??? wtf?

My favorite is the first movie. RE:Apocalypse had some nice scenes. And RE:Extinction felt kind of uninspired.
Degeneration might be excellent concerning the look&feel of the games, but since I never played those to me it is like I'm watching a looong cutscene from a video game... :/

Degeneration. It's not a part of the Hollywood series with Alice, so it actually HAS the original storyline and characters. I go weak in the knees for Leon, and he's in it. Ooooh baby!

Hmm... I like a lot the first and second ones, but the third one was a bit too not-as-zombie as I would have expected. I mean the whole idea of survival and find a way out of a huge city filled with zombies was lost, and that is what I like about zombie movies, survival idea.

But between the second and the first one? Hmm, that's way to hard to answer. Both are really nice, so, for me it's just 1&2>3.

I liked the third movie the best, however the zombies from the first movie were my favorite. I didn't like the second one at all and I am afraid that this new 3D movie is going to ruin it all.

I like how Mila Jovovich dyed her pubes red to match her character's hair in the movie. You get to see when she's in the hospital gown and she falls when she gets off the bed.

To speak on the subject, I liked all 4 of them, but the first one was the best because it was a lot more realistic and the outcome was not so predictable.

The second movie. The whole Racoon City quarantine thing was cool. At least they showed the S.T.A.R.S., except they get gunned down by Nemesis.

The only Resident Evil I liked were Resident Evil 1, 2 and Nemisis on Playstation 1
......RE 2 is STILL my favorite

The first is, was, and always will be the best.

I have to say afterlife sucked pretty bad TBH. Everything inbetween was good but not as good as the first.

First one def.
Then Extinction.
Nemesis ruined apocalypse.

If they make another it needs to be more scary and less matrix.

For RE movies, I only liked Degeneration.

The first of the live action ones was ok, if horribly predictable. The rest just weren't RE at all. It wasn't about survival anymore, it was about how much ass the mary sue main character could kick, which was made worse by how useless she made established RE main characters look at the same time, showing them up whenever she could. Then there were the psychic powers they just pulled out of the asses, cause that has a basis in the source material.

But hey, its pays to be the wife of the director, no?

I think one of my favorite bits was in the third movie where the intro claimed the T-virus somehow dried up lakes and rivers, cause that makes sense.

Don't get me wrong, they'd be passable enough movies if they just removed all the RE references and stopped trying to pretend they are something they aren't.
