Hello all, I'm Irus. I'm 17 (I'll be 18 once summer hits ) I'm Irish-American, Live in the U.S.A and well of course my native language is English. I've been playing games since the original Sonic game came out on the SEGA, and have been addicted ever since.

I haven't been able to do much gaming recently because of school, so the only game I'm really playing now that I have time for is ZP.

I like to be active on the forum and contribute as much as I can, just with my thoughts and ideas.

I like all types of games, RTS, FPS, Racing, Action, Adventure, Puzzle, Beat 'em up, Arcade, RPG, hell even board games.

I'm currently working with a Linux environment to help me with wanting to learn some programming, as well as just learn more. I want to go to collage and get a degree in computer science.

Holy crap it's been too long since I was here. Uh...

My name is alphabetsoup, or just Soup, whatever you want to call me. My character name is Zahra (because I got confused at the character creation stage and thought I had to pick an actual name. Ah well). I'm 20 and I'm doing a degree in bioelectrical engineering. So I play with dead/semi-dead things. Which means that I will be either very well-prepared or very screwed when the zombies invade. I can't really decide which.

I'm not new, not [un]dead, just very busy lately. Haven't had the time to be active in ZP. Though I've been around for a while, much has changed in the game over a month or so, and I kinda feel like a noob again. I haven't even started the quests on the second map yet. Well, time to play catch-up.

I also have had experience in web design and a couple other coding languages. I speak French, English and to a lesser extent German. I started playing ZP several months ago after I signed up to be reminded when the Beta came out.

I love posting on forums! Post, post, post! To me there is nothing more important than post count! Infact I've already posted too much in this comment which could have got me an extra 10 posts if I'd split it up, damn, guess I'll just finish it off here now...

I'm a 3rd year computing science student at the University of Aberdeen specialising in A.I. Once I finish my degree I think I'm going to look into getting into the computer games industry but there isn't huge oppertunities for that where I live so it really depends upon the practicallities.

I'm mostly playing ZP and Dead Rising just now and am also coding my own game which is my project for the summer although currently I'm just refamiliarising myself with the Java API by coding a tic-tac-toe game which you are welcome to play if you want (it's not an applet yet but will be soon and I'll throw up a link)

I can't remember how I heard about ZP but I want to say it was a Facebook add or possiblly an add on That Guy With The Glasses or even The Spoony Experiment but I'm really not sure.

Anyway I better get back to spamming up other topics to get my post count past Bensons.

I work for an educational company in China, where I've been living, writing and teaching for some 8 years. (Came to try it for just one year. After that I thought, "just one more year" and before I knew it...)
Started playing DnD with pencil and paper and metal figurines and various sided dice when I was in uni. Just coming back to it now with ZP. I love Romero's zombie flicks, so this game has a baisc curiosity appeal for me. I'm playing 2 characters, latefordinner and evenlaterfordinner. I think you can guess where those names come from. If I have time, I play one while the other trains and regains spent stamina points. I tend to explore and scavenge a lot, but don't go zed-bashing or questing enough.
I rescue people whenever I can. If you're a noob and I rescue you, chances are I'll send a message to say hi and ask how you got into trouble. Just being friendly, feel free to ignore or to respond as you see fit. I don't plan on joining any clans, but making friends and sharing ideas is rarely a bad idea.
If you run across some tagging that is just terrible 4 line doggerel, that's me. I'm not here to make political or religious statements, to sell anything, and certainly not to denigrate anyone. We're here for a good time, not a long time. So have a good time, there's zombies we came here to slay.
