I heard it was supposed to be Louis, the black dude, but since the guy doing the voice of Bill wasnt available, they chose him instead.

so lois the panzy survives, coach the ass survives, nick the "i'm going to take every thing and leave you nothing" survives, and they kill off bill? fts valve, thats lame, i never played bill but he was awesome and logically was the best equipped to handle the zombies, he was a 'nam vet for crying out loud! at least elis is kept, hes my fave him and zoey and Francis. i get touchy over such things...

what these eff'ing zombies run?!? i call zombie bull spit...

Yah, I am definitely not happy with Valve's choice to kill a character. And I don't get how the 2 casts meet each other. L4D1 was MILES away from the location of L4D2. I always played Bill in the first one, and it bothers me quite a bit that they would kill him. I know its a zombie world, and people got to die, but not the main cast. Its up to the players to get them killed, not just the dev team being like, "Oh the voice actor for bill isn't available, we need some drama in the story, how about someone dies.. ok... Bill.. dead.." It just doesn't seem thought out to me. Then again, not much of anything in the L4D series is thought out. It's more just based around the frantic gameplay, wich is wearing thin for me. I need more content, not just new levels and guns.

There will be a new map on L4D1 to explain what happened Seth. Also remember, the maps on both games arent exactly in chronological order. Except for both First maps. Im pretty sure thats how the game starts.

Beta version 1.31.19 is now live and includes mostly several bug fixes related to new signup frontpage and ingame styling. It also includes a few game balancing adjustments including slower advance range for a number of zombies and 2 new missions available at the city zoo on map 3.
