Hey guys I know a while back I mentioned making Zombie Diaries and here's my first entry into it. I hope I can use it to expand the mythos. Oh and WeavingFilms is the name of my production team.

I hope to be able to produce a clip every week and to help expand on the mythos.

Watched both already haha. Also like I'm doing this project on my own and I'd love to have feedback and comments on your thoughts of this.

Just to start you off:

Have a setting.
Note the two videos, the camera was showing a static clip of the living room that the guy was in, or the reporter's news room instead of just their heads.

Have a character.
Dont smile to the camera, you are in an undead distopia, you are probably scared s***less or are having a morbidly good time. Pick one, not both. Yes you can change later but make sure theres a good reason.

The Camera.
Treat the camera like its a person. It has feelings, it has likes and dislikes. And depending on what you do, it will judge you.

Presentation.
I had the distinct feeling of "guy talking into a camera", work on that. You might be confused because of the above post but just think about it this way. "Guy talking into a camera" is different to "Guy talking to a camera"

Story:
Have a clear beginning, middle and end.

Alright umm but my story isn't in the distopia its the weeks before it.

Yo Fred, you hear about that crazy stuff happenin on the news?

"Fred, pick up the phone, I know you're there. Flights are being canceled 'cause of this, I heard you're Sister was overseas, did you get any news from her yet? Cmon man! Pick up!"

Yeah its crazy man people dying in the droves by a flu how wacked is that?

(I'm in class right now so I'll be slow to reply)

"Work is crazy right now, we're getting calls all over the city about looting and unprovoked attacks. Dispatch has their work cut out for them, its a matter of time til I get called out to settle a dispute. Im scared, in the last 5 years Ive been with the force, I am genuinely scared. This isn't some gang violence or another shooting, this is something else. Something big. How are things on your end? You said it was a flu? I musta missed that."

Yeah people are dying and coming back alive weird right?

**Ok then, feel free to continue this later. But before I go, I want you to look at my first post.
"Yo Fred, you hear about that crazy stuff happenin on the news?"
With that simple phrase, the story actually STARTS.
And on my second post, the reader/viewer/etc learns that this is a phone call. And that "You" as in "Fred" has a sister who is overseas.
On the third post, you learn that "I" as in "Todd" am a police officer who has been one for 5 years.
**Try to use these examples the best you can and tell Todd what Fred is experiencing in his thoughts and in his surroundings.

"N-n-n-n-no, the flu Fred, the flu! Tell me about the Flu. You telling me everything thats happened in the last 24 hours is because of something a little Advil can take care of?"
