    i submitted this to the devs earlier, but I'll also post my idea here. The suitcase right now just looks silly, and does minimal damage. How about instead the player has the option of opening it?

    If a player finds one, it will weigh a bit more, be worth a little more, and do more damage, the extra weight being whatever is inside.

    Should the player decide to crack it open, they can get a randomly generated item, ranging anywhere from clothes or weapons, to a rock. Afterwards, the suitcase remains open(assume the suitcase had locks and the player broke them) and the weight, damage, and value drop to 1.

    What do you guys think?

    Well if suitcases must have locks, there should be a technical skill involved or otherwise someone would try to blast the locks open, not realizing it's a rigged piped bomb waiting inside!

    I'd rather see them as a way to boost encumbrance (with a penalty to Agility, for its awkwardness).

    Hmm Interesting suggestion I like it ,fighting with a suitcase=fail in hard conditions so IMO it should not be considered a weapon.
