i have 2 ideas for it to use ingame

    idea 1
you know when u travel around u sometimes get attacked by a zombie
just on the moment u can miss this
when u trow this item near a zombie u have a 100% get-away from the fight

    idea 2
u have to devolep this item but in 2 differnt sizes

the small size we have no
    small bloodpack
    restores 25% sp
    40% hp

    bigger bloodpack
    restores 75% sp
    80% hp

the % are just a idea
u can change this in what u gm think will be usefull

    restore Hp and Sp?

No, we dont need this but it could be some sort of "rescue" if you get downed, like gets you up and gives you 5hp, and big one could give 20 hp.

The escape decoy makes more sense or mabey a bait for zombies.

Mabey increase the price for blood packs...these things should cost more.

The fleeing function sounds pretty good. I too would like to see a use for the blood pack rather than being just another hp item.

Ha, I bet Seth would suggest something along the lines of that a player could throw them at a enemy, maybe perhaps shooting the blood pack a bit before contact to possibly blind the enemy etc. Or if it was in PvP then it would give a chance that zombies would attack the blood drenched player. Ah good old Seth....

I guess after the pandemic people forgot about blood types.

We could also have Blood doping with the blood packs as a possibility.

Blood doping is the practice of boosting the number of red blood cells (RBCs) in the bloodstream in order to enhance athletic performance. Because they carry oxygen from the lungs to the muscles, more RBCs in the blood can improve an athlete’s aerobic capacity and endurance.

    Taken from Wikipedia.

Maybe they could implement a real problem that is likely to occur from being bitten. Even if you're immune to the zombie virus no one is immune to the amount of bacteria in a human bite let alone an undead bite. They could make it so that you can put anti-biotics in the blood packs which you take if a zombie bite just so happens to make you ill. Kind of like being poisoned it would deplete your hit points every few turns.

Idea A) Sounds like someone's played "Resident Evil : Outbreak." Have you ever played the Hospital stage, by chance?
The main enemy of that area was a group of zombified leeches latched to a host zombie; the thing was damn near indestructible, to the point of requiring you to use bloodpacks to distract and eventually lure it into the furnace as you turned it on.

Now that I think about it, that was a cool enemy. Let's get us one.

    Idea B) AIDS.

the best use is about fleeing because blood must be refrigerated, o maybe the blood should come with a time counter when reachs 0 its gets spoiled.
And blood should be like a "fenix down" in final fantasy, at leas thata what i think.

i like the idea of using blood as bait but i was wondering how are you able to do a blood transfusion in the middle of no where?

there is the problem of the bood tipe, you can`t just use any kind of blood to recover life, I said that you can only find the bloodpack empty and then you sacrifice some of your blood (hp) to use it later and recove the life you loose. using it as bait is a great idea too, it should have both functions

There's enough of HP-recovering items already. And bait... I thought that it works with vampires only

Unless you've got a big hole in you; then that blood you're pumping back into you is just going to ooze right back out.

Well, a certain blood type can be donated to anyone with no trouble at all, and one type can be given any type of blood with no problems at all. I forget which are which Type, but there is always that to consider when asking about blood types.

I like the idea of them being a resuscitation item, like you need one if you want to rescue someone else (since they're almost certainly bleeding out onto the cold, unforgiving tarmac when you find them).
