Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but has anyone ever broken down the skills by the numbers? You know, to see exactly how your Marksmanship correlates with your hit % with weapons, or how your Agility correlates to your Escape %? I didn't see anything anywhere and also posted a similar discussion post under attributes on the wiki.

If there isn't anything I'm going to start compiling the data myself, but if it's already out there that would be... awesome.

Chance to hist is a combination based of your marksmanship and the opponents agility.

Im pretty sure your close combat results are based of close combat and strength.

And your dodging in close combat is a combination of close combat and agility, versus opponents close combat and strength.

    Constitution is a flat rate.

I understand how the skills inter-relate to one another, I'm talking in terms of hard numbers. So for every point of Marksmanship, how much does your chance to hit increase? For every point in Strength, how much does your close combat ability increase? Do any of these numbers have a minimum or a maximum, and do the rates remain constant at all levels?

These are the kinds of questions I am asking.

I think this is explained under 'How does combat work' which can be found when fighting, at least that explains most of them, I think, I seem to remember reading about them somewhere.

Are you sure? Because just talking to another player in the beta that is not the case.

It seems that hit % for a semi-auto weapon caps out at 95% (not sure at what Marksmanship rank this first happens yet). I am assuming that hit % for an automatic/burst weapon would be similar, but have not confirmed this yet.

Also, your escape % seems to be a formula of diminishing returns, whereas it quickly begins to take more ranks in Agility to actually result in a 1% increase in your escape chance in combat.

So do you have 95% chance to hit even with weapons that give a -30% penalty?

So what level of markmenship do you recommend to start using an automatic weapon? I'm at 52 but the hit percentage is still extremely low.
