    Anyway, the new update, (0.906?)

I really dont like the new targetting system.

Firstly it stretches the weapon box so its off the page to the right. I have no idea if this efffects those with widescreen monitors, but it means I cant see how many shells my hunting shotgun is holding, and Im too lazy to count.

The Individual boxes for the zombies could work, but apart from adding new pictures, make the page even more cluttered.

PERSONALLY.  (And I could be wrong here) Id like the old system reimplemented, but with a different change.

The list of zombie names you can target retains the colour coding, so instead of all red, when a zombie is dead, out of range or in close combat, its name is written in the corresponding colour.

    Anyway, pandemicers (pandemicans?)

You make it sound like were some kind of mexican food

Anyway, since I have a wide screen, I can attest to you it doesn't affect much on my part but it is nonetheless annoying to see table boxes even bigger than before. I suggest to remove the link boxes entirely and instead replace them with a drop down list of actions with a nearby confirm button to confirm said action. It would appear something like this:

    [Select action] (default choice) [Execute]

    Upon click

    [Select action] [Execute]
    >Attack
    >Advance
    >Run
    >Reload
    >Change Equip
    >Report and Whine to the forums

And when you select actions like attack.

    [Attack][Execute] [0]xAction

This IMO is more effective since it's not like we can do all actions at once nor right click and open a new link. An alternate is reducing them to gif icons.

Perhaps give it a couple of days to get yourself accustomed to it Rosslessness...I didn't think I'd like it at first either but now it has meant that I am acquiring targets faster and more efficiently...

    Cheers

It would be fine if I could see all the boxes without scrolling left and right everytime, maybe.

    Hey Rosslessness,

That must be annoying, I'm widescreened aswell (laptop) so doesn't effect me but it does mean I can't see the navigation buttons on the map screen without scrolling down which is annoying.

As for the new update I wasn't keen on it when it came out, it's too big and garish as you said but since all I do in battle is click attack, attack, attack it hasn't really affected me that much in the end.

I'm not keen on the drop down menu though, that'll slow things do so instead of an option taking 1 click it'll take 3 which is a step in the wrong direction imho.

@Rosslessness: What is your screen resolution?

The width of the site was completely unaffected for me, so I cant see the difference from table to boxes...
