It's not a zombie movie but it is good anyways. Technically they are just infected with something that makes them crazy and violent. They aren't dead or undead. They're still alive and get hurt like any normal human would. |

IMO it's a great movie. Though it's not a classic zombie movie as people are "infected" it's still a cool movie with lots of great survival horror scenes and a cool storyline.
It's actually a remake of the George A. Romero classic from 1973 which might also be interesting:

Having seen the new one, I have to say this looks much better, I know it's just a trailer...Also the 70s style makes it seem more of a struggle  Definitely both worth a watch though. |

Definitely a movie worth seeing not a zombie movie, it reminds me of the 28 days latter's Rage virus except these guys can use their brains not to full capabilities but still making it a lethal combination also by the way zombies don't necessarily need to be dead or undead there is some shit i read about i think its Haiti (apparently where the word zombie originates) where a guy gets poisoned who can be mistaken as a dead man by doctors ( but is living barely ) give them some drug containing alkaloids and they can move and do basic labor with barely any brain function and be whats the closest thing to a real zombie ( so far lol ) but they are in no way aggressive ( figured out by voodoo shaman ) |

Ach it wasn't the worst film I've ever saw but I wouldn't watch it again. There were far too many 'OMG the crazy is going to get him...BANG...saved in the nick of time' moments, it actually became rediculous. And the main women of the film really annoyed me, constantly screaming and being a right b***h to the main guy.
Do spoiler tags work here? Probably not so expect spoliers if you read the next line!
What's the thoughts on the women's baby though? It's mentioned she's pregnant at the start of the film then forgotten about by the end. I think she lost it but the film makers decided not to add that in so glossed over it. |
